base plates

Postby David Eberhard » Mon Jan 30, 2012 9:13 pm

I'm looking for some 60 degree base plates. Does any one know of a company other than Randall that makes them. Or does any one have any for sale, i have two Randall RII hangers that need base plates. Trying to put a luge together for Joshua for his 16 birthday

thanks Boomer

You can try http://cindrichboards.com/Home.html I'm not sure if he has 60 degree plates. But he was making CNCed Randal replacements.

Another option is to go with the double truck set up that was recently posted.

Buzzed has 65 degree plates (not yet listed on their site). Great quality pieces and fantastic prices for CNCed equipment.

I have two 60 degree Randal plates that I have no use for at the moment, the only hitch is that I use 1/4 inch bolts (they don't bend, strip or break) so the wholes have been enlarged to 1/4 inch. A simple reducer bushing could be made out of aluminum, brass or steel tube to bring the size down to standard bolt sizes.

Sorry Alex, looks like they're heading to Australia.

Not to jack the thread, but are you and The Flying Dentist still coming to Maryhill and WinSport?
