This is such a good news. The 3 Bobs are so glade this race is back...
We just came back from racing in France (Graveyard Call, Argonay) and Italy (Padova Grand Prix, Teolo)... and we have seen a lot of tight curves and slow corners... can't wait the fast rollercoster ride of Bainbridge :D This will be fun.

Of course this is about the same time as my wife and I celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, I wonder if she would like to go to Ohio? Psffft!!!!!!!! :? I'll let Tony know though, it was our first race back in 2002 for Phil, Tony, and myself. Never forgot it! Pavement was suspect back then and turn two was the demon of the weekend.......bet it still is! 8) Sounds like aroad trip to me. Keep us posted of the details. Really need to know how much riding time and what safety precautions will be in place.

I have put in my two cents for insurance and should not be a problem in that area....

Is this 100% yet? The lack of website seems worrying.

They need to make an official announcement soon. Only 6 weeks left until the race is supposed to happen. That isn't going to give many racers time to plan to attend. Every day that ticks by is cutting their turnout and reducing their chances of a successful event.

I thought an official announcement HAS been made?

The website isn't much, but there is a website. Claim is registration should be up by end of the week or so.

I can't imagine there big being a huge turnout for it with the sign up and announcement being so late. I think I will miss this and hit the Prince Edward County race, I think my girl would be kinda mad at me for hitting a race 10 days after our first baby is born

Well registration is late, but this was announced several months ago. I heard about this race before I heard about the Candian National race.

And unfortunately I won't be going, well maybe not unfortunately. Jester Hill, while fun to ride, isn't the best course in the world... Its not the best course in the States... Shoot not even the best course in Ohio. I've been there done that and not that interested in hitting it again.

But really the main reason is I am planning on going to Brazil and Australia and can't really afford the time or money to go. The Canadian National is also on my radar. I'm not 100 percent sure I'll go to this race. For one it looks like the best thing to do is fly into Syracuse and then drive around a small lake to get there. The problem here, (in addition to time and money) is I need to send my passport off for a new Brazilian Visa.

They are promising this to be an honest to goodness race, complete with closed road, paramedics, and hay bales. Which is a good thing. Also I believe these are the same people who put on the race earlier this year. I only heard good things about the event.

Looks like people on the east coast have two races in October to go to!
