SoCal Sessions

Postby Street-Luge.com » Thu Feb 18, 2010 11:31 pm

Occasionally, a group of us San Diegans (+1 crazy chick from Temecula) get together and ride in the San Diego mountains mainly in the vicinity of Palomar Mountain and Santa Ysabel. We try to get out at least once a month or so, sometimes more. This thread will chronicle our sessions: when we ride and what went down that day.

If anyone ever wants to join us, feel free. We welcome your company!

Plans are tentatively scheduled to ride near Santa Ysabel, CA this Saturday Feb 20th. Most likely be a short day: start riding early and finish up by 10 or so.

Pretty much in a holding pattern here; El Nino is brining us lots of rain. As soon as spring comes, we will have plenty of time to ride!

Scott Peer called and was trying to work up a Templin run this weekend. Christian pulled a muscle / pinched a nerve in his back so he's at 100%.
If you go out be sure and post some notes about the ride.

My friends and I are planning to ride Templin in the next couple of weeks. It would be fun to get the gravity bikes out with you guys while you ride. I was thinking about heading up mid April. Are Saturdays too crowded?

Jeff,

You are more than welcome to come out and ride with us. You can get your feet wet with one of our buttboards if you would like.

We had a crew of 8 on Saturday; it was all good fun until the CHP rolled us.

Yeah, I'm stoked to get out to you guys. I'm in the process of buying a used street missile, and I have a full face helmet. Hopefully next month I'll make it down.

You guys should rent a VW bus and head up the coast for MHFOS. 15 hour drive and you're on site. Roll up on Thursday, quals on Fri/Sat, race Sunday and bomb back home.
